COMPLETE PLATFORM GUIDE
Everything you need to know — from setting up your wallet to photographing physical artwork, pricing your 1:1s, and getting your collection live on-chain.
To interact with dbpNFT you need an XRP Ledger wallet. We use Xaman (formerly XUMM) — a secure, non-custodial mobile wallet.
Reserve Requirement
1 XRP is permanently held in reserve by the XRP Ledger to keep your account active on-chain. This is a network rule, not a platform fee. You'll need slightly more than 1 XRP to cover transaction fees.
Seed Phrase Security
Never share your seed phrase with anyone. Never store it digitally (no screenshots, no cloud notes). Write it on paper and keep it in a secure location. If you lose it, your wallet and all assets are gone forever.
Connect your wallet and head to the Mint page. Anyone with a connected wallet can build and submit a collection — no prior approval required.
Collection Types
1:1 (One of One)
Unique individual pieces. Each item has its own image and metadata. Ideal for physical art, fine art photography, or unique digital pieces.
Generative
Multiple editions from a template. Set a supply and mint price — collectors mint on demand. Great for editions, series, or PFP projects.
The Submission Flow
- Choose your collection type (1:1 or Generative)
- Fill in collection details — name, description, royalties, flags
- Upload your artwork files (and metadata template for generative)
- Set pricing, supply limits, schedule, and allowlist (optional)
- Authorize the platform minter wallet (one-time per wallet)
- Click Submit for Review — your art is uploaded to IPFS
- Wait for curator approval (check Dashboard → My Drops)
No Upfront Payment
Submitting for review is free. You only pay when your collection is approved and you choose to deploy it on-chain. For generative drops, deployment is automatic after approval.
